For the glider and slope purists among you we offer a separately available Infusion Glider Conversion KitThe Infusion is not recommended for beginners because of the fast climb and sensitive controls. For all the advanced pilots: Get it, enjoy the good quality of the kit, build it with enthusiasm, and have heavenly flights wherever you are! Typical for this manufacturer, solid tubular spar construction with pullwinding spars. Compared to pultruded tubes these have a much higher bending and torsional strength. Precisely laser cut wooden construction, simplest construction (3D-puzzle). 3-piece wing, planked flat-built tailplane, removable elevator in front of the rudder (optional), 90° deflectable landing flaps (bottom mounted), integrated wing connectors in the main spar, innovative (tool- and tape-free) fixation of the outer wings. The main feature of the wing is the tubular carbon spar, onto which the laser cut ribs are threaded. Half-ribs in the front section of the wing ensure good airfoil accuracy and prevent the covering film from collapsing in this section of the profile. Stylish wingtips ensure an elegant appearance. The fuselage is consistently designed for the use of small brushless outrunners. With nearly 2m of wingspan, an all up weight of around 900 g, a wing area of 32dm² gives a wing loading of 28g/dm². The fuselage (built from balsa, reinforced by "clicked in" plywood formers) is doubled-up by lightweight plywood underneath the wing. The milled bulkhead is already prepared for the mounting of a Hacker A20-12XL. The kit includes - besides laser cut parts - the GRP tube spars, GRP leading edges and all linkages and small parts. A full size multi-coloured construction plan and well illustrated German building instructions are included. The kit doesn't include any glues, covering material, power drive, batteries and RC components. A well presented kit with perfectly cut laser parts. With a bit of translation from phone it went together well all parts fit nice, I nice plan to show all views. Cha servos fitted well with no modifications, dual sky motor fitted with a bit of sanding on inside of fuselage. Balanced with 1300 lipo spot on. Overall very pleased , test fly this morning !
Bought this kit back in June '25, really impressed with the quality of balsa, laser cutting was accurate and it all fit together so well. I had to google translate the instruction booklet into the English, but that was a minor issue, 10 mins at the computer got it sorted. well written and full size plan easy to understand.
I decided to epoxy glass the fuselage and tail component to make them more resilient to damage., Wings covered in oracover.
Its now October and I managed to test fly the infusion from the slope as conditions were fairly calm: 6 to 10mph. Model flew very well with recommended parameters; CG spot - Neutral in pitch. Elevator was a very responsive but use of Rates sorted that out. I needed some down elevator compensation for crow braking, but this is normal.
Really pleased with its performance. Slow or fast it just did what its supposed to do. Turns really well even at slow speed with addition of a little rudder. Aileron roll really crisp with or without coupled flap. Model is quite aerobatic. Landing on the slope side with crow brake was so easy. Overall, very pleased with the build and performance.
Another excellent quality kit from the German makers of the Inside F5J and the Introduction, and an enjoyable build. No English instructions but diagrams at very stashes plus the excellent plan make it all quite easy.
I intended mine as a more efficient slope soarer than my foamy models but only needed the power mainly for saves in very weak conditions. So I am going to use a much smaller motor and lipo so extended the nose by16 mm to minimise extra nose weight. I will use ballast for strong conditions.
I’ve finished the fuselage and tails and am starting on the wings. I will sheet the upper leading edge as I dislike the Iron on film sag between ribs.
One aspect where I found a design fault was the ply strip bridge between the two elevator halves which was not stiff in torsion and as only one side is driven by the servo would not allow both elevators the same travel under aero load. Quite easy to cure though with some extra ply bracing. Or even a 2 mm carbon tube.perhaps?
I haven't quite finished the build of the Infusion yet, but so far I am really impressed with the build quality, plans and ease of the build.
Shes got the looks of a fast model with a good presence so I am eager to finish her and and get her airbourn.

I'm 75% through the build and impressed with the quality wood and great laser cutting. The lack of English instructions doesn't help and there is plenty of thought before glue is applied. It's worth checking the translation of the manual for the Inside F5J as it's from the same manufacturer and much of the construction is similar.
