Servos blue bird BMS-101 DMG ServoMuy buenos servos, digitales y piñonería metálica para aplicaciones de DLG-F3K.

Blue Bird BMS-101 DMG servosNice little servos, a masterpiece of design packaging. Very quiet gears and virtually no backlash there. But there is some play in the top bearing which does translate to a small amount of dead travel when under load

DLG Elevator ServoI bought one of these servos for a DLG elevator control. Even without load the centring is variable. With a little friction in the linkage the speed of the glider was unpredictable due to variable elevator position. I bought it to replace an Analogue servo, hoping to fix the issue, but without any improvement.

Good servo but....!I bought two servos and they were okay with the first starts. After a number of hours of use, one servo gives backlash with regard to the correct position.
It is a pity .... the servos are very nice for the rest.

BluebirdAbsolutely no problem with the service, but again a jamed Bluebird BMS-101DMG. 3 out of 5, so I decided to throw away the rest and change to much cheaper and much slower, but working ones...

BlueBird mg 101Brilliant service as usual from this awesome company. had an issue with 1 of 4 sevos and was sent another servo immediately no questions asked...Cant recomend these guys enough. A pleasure to do business with on many occasions now.

Micro servo used for industrial roboticsWe bought this for an industrial robotics application having never considered "hobby" components previously, but given it had a full metal drivetrain we thought it would be worth a try. It exceeded our expectations. Especially surprising was the almost non-existence of backlash in the output gear. If we had one wish it would be that this servo be made with a magnetic encoder rather than the analogue potentiometer that is fitted at present as this would allow more than the existing +/- 60 degree stroke, which we see as the only functional disadvantage at present. Another request from industry would be to place a small transverse hole through the output shaft so we can fix the rotational orientation of our output gear (we do not know how to machine the female spline shape into our gear so we have no way at present to positively lock position to the shaft). There could be a good market for an "industrialized" version of this sevo given a few modifications.

As usual everything is great. These are very good little servos.

Excellent servos apart from cantering issues Super service.

Fast servo, and absolutely tiny. Complete package with screws, different control horns and double-sided tape. Packaging could be reduced for less waste.
So far the servo's are working excellently in my Dart DLG. Satisfied.

Little gemGreat little servo, used in a stiletto lift. With those big flaperons this little fella has no problems. And kit of arms and screws should do any install. Recommended.!

I put this servo in a K3000 glider for Ruder and Elevator and I thought it was small for the 1.3 kg of the plane, but it behaves very well.

Good servo, fast and appear to be centering well. Running at 5volts. In the ELF Should do nicely.

Not goodFirstly this is not a criticism of hyperflight whose focus and service I’ve found second to none .
Decided to revive my dlg and the previous servo was starting to glitch. Thought this would make a good interim, how wrong.
Only operated correctly in one direction, the other would vary between full movement and half movement. The service would continue to move slowly for seconds after the stick was centred.
Sadly a poor experience with this product

Tiny ServosA1 service and shipping, goods arrived well packaged in a sturdy cardboard container. Untried. Hard to believe the small size and low weight, specs as described. Looking forward to installation. A bit dear.

Excellent like servoI love this service! Dollar for dollar you can't beat it for DLG / F3K gliders. Killer centering, plenty of torque and fast. 5 stars definitely. Have bought 10+ and happy with every one.

assez deçu par ces petits servos. pour un f3K le neutre est pas terrible et il manque du couple pour les ailerons

No complaints, little bit expensiveI have 4x of these in a Hawk DLG that I recently purchased. No complaints regards performance, they run fine on a 1S lipo, seem to centre well etc.
Only down side is that they are a bit expensive when you're used to paying $5-10 for a digital servo from Asia.

Works well as a replacement for the Dream Flight servos in a Libelle. The original took some moving and the existing extension lead needed to be moved slightly to cope with a slightly shorter servo lead. The servo is a bit buzzy, which I gather is common. I haven't used digitals much yet.

Blue Bird BMS-101DMG Digital ServoV. small units and seem to OK for something that size. Good things - excellent on 1S Lipo pack as I haven't go thtem to brown-out yet. Bad things - (1) They do buzz a lot when at rest, which is probably not an issue but the noise can get annoying during long setup sessions! (2) They do not reliably centre e.g do a couple of full +/- stick movements and they do not entirely reliably go back to the same centre. However, for v.small metal-gear servos, they are OK

No problems herePut them in my Alula after a failed launch stripped the plastic servos I had in it. Haven't had any centering problems, it was a little difficult getting it to balance again but it works better than before now and the sensitivity on these is so much better than the analogs I had before (I kept one analog to give it a much needed rudder, already thinking of getting another one of these for that too).
I know it has the 5V warning but I've run them as high as 5.4V with no problem, and as low as 3.2V before they start getting the shakes.

Centering, depend the positionI need to update the centering of this servo, actually its depend on what position it is. After trim, the centering will change, from 0.4 to 1.2 degrees of shift, depend on where it is. For your reference. D47 is better, always about 0.4 degree of shift.
Review by: Dominic
Compare to D47Just bought one and working normal.
Compare to D47: Centering is a little bit better, but resolution is worse(cheap digital servo's behavior, sometimes moving smooth, sometimes jump a big distance).
Anyway, it's metal gear, feels no play and smaller size. Still need time to check its reliability.

Should been a 1 star review not five

Same experience as above. On is perfect, the other buzzes constantly even with no horn attached.
