The YGE90 LV ESC
is a high quality German engineered brushless electronic speed controller for powered gliders, helicopters, F3A aerobats, and sports models. YGE is the most reliable brand of speed controller currently available and gives the best performance from all electric motors.
The YGE90 LV ESC
has a very powerful BEC whose output voltage is set using a jumper to 5.7V, 7.4V or 8.0V. The BEC can supply 8A continuously or 18A for 10 seconds making it suitable for large models.
The current stock is the latest V3 specification.
The YGE90 ESC is a 90 A electronic speed control with a powerful 5.7V / 7.4V / 8.0V Switching BEC (battery eliminator circuit) for powering the RC. The BEC can give out 8 A continuously and 18 A for short periods. Adequate cooling is required for sustained running at the maximum continuous full power ESC and BEC current limits.
The YGE90 has powerful braking facilities to ensure that folding props fold correctly, without over straining the gearbox.
The YGE90 has an excellent helicopter governor mode allowing low and high rpm flight condition with the same pinion, allowing modern flybarless helis to benefit from the excellent low RPM capabilities of flybarless modules.

June 2017: YGE ESCS cannot currently handle HV (4.35V) LiPo cells correctly. If using HV LiPos either charge to the normal LiPo 4.2V full charge voltage, or disable undervoltage cut-off using the programming card.

Please take a look at the ESC-manual and do the mode-programming. Choose Mode 4 for gliders.
All parameters will be automatically set to perfect default values for gilders, also the throttle range will be automatically fitted to your transmitter.
After that, please connect the ProgCard to the master cable. Please only change the timing to 6°. Nothing else! [This was for a Leomotion L3025 motor]
The master cable has to be connected to the throttle-Channel of your receiver. The slave (only brown and red) has to be connected to any free channel of your receiver. Please don't connect the orange lead of the slave, because this is a RPM-output for some helicopter applications.
