We are pleased to offer the Shushi 77cm (30") flying wing slope soarer, the second model to emerge from the collaboration between Nick Chitty and AngelWing Designs.
Originally developed by Nick, the design was then refined by AngelWing Designs, who reworked the CAD model for more efficient production and faster, simpler assembly. The result is a practical, tough and easy-to-build kit that is perfectly suited to regular slope use.
One of the many improvements is the replacement of the traditional balsa leading edge with a hardwood dowel. This gives the Shushi far better durability on the slope, helping it shrug off knocks and rough landings, while also removing the need for careful sanding to achieve the correct profile.
With a wingspan of 77cm and a flying weight of around 200g, the Shushi is a compact and highly capable little wing. It performs exceptionally well in light to moderate winds, and is equally at home on smaller slopes where larger models can feel less lively.
