Ripmax SD100 ServoBought to install into a Alt 1m DLG. They certainly look as though they will be very suitable for the task in hand.

Excellent little servo and first class service from Hyperflight.

An excellent servo. Very reliable and precise.A very good servo for the money.

Fitted four in my Stiletto Lift.
Impressive quiet servo with no buzz, when new control surfaces are a little stiff, so should suit spring return rudder/elevator use.
Worth buying a spare set of gears and making servos removable for DLG aileron+flap use, as nylon gears.
Telemetry buzz is just possible with the new Frsky longer range receivers like G-RX6, but fine for most aerial positions.

Marvellous (but tiny Phillips screw)Fitted to my Elf, working very well, no problems after 90+ launches. Please note that the Phillips securing screw for the servo arm is tiny; I needed a Size 00 Phillips screwdriver to remove/refit it without damaging its head.

SD 100Good servo, very accurate and fast in DLG. No problems to date.

A useful little servoBought specifically to fit the Voodoo. Which they do adequately and light enough for the weight requirement. Only had one trimming flight so far but seem to be satisfactory for the budget.

SD100First time trying these servos, initial impressions good! Need better weather so can test them to destruction - newbie slope soarer! Also first time buyer Hyperflight, great service. Recommend.

Nice little servo, use it in the Fling DLG. Would be nice when it had a bit a longer lead.
Works fine

Brilliant little servos, one of my favorites. Zero issues with them, plenty fast enough on 1s too.

Ripmax SD100 servoBought these for my Dreamflight Libelle DLG as aileron servos. I chose them because previous reviewers had said how robust they were. Unfortunately one of them has stripped gears after a relatively minor nose down landing and I have to replace the gears. A bit disappointing but other than that they work really well.

Great servos! Using them in a FW 6.2 and in a ELF DLG for the elevator and the rudder. Thanks Neil for the great shipping service to Switerland!

Reliable tiny lightweightI have used several of the SD100 (also a couple of 150s) servos from Neil and found them great. They seem very reliable, centre well, are slop free and are ideal in lightweight models. Two points in their favour are that they can be fitted in a glider tail without the need for church roof to get CofG right and they will operate off 2S LiPos.

Nice small servo , good quality, work very well

The Greatest analog micro servoPrecise servo capable to handle fully charged 2s Li-Po cell.
Those from batch I received, were totally jitter free, holding 0 position precisely.

All goodGreat servo

Your service is faultless thank you. The servos themselves are as usual up to there good quality and performance.

Nice servo, quite powerful for its size. the only
reason it didn't get 5 stars is because the the lead is too short.

Great Little servo, great service as wellI am converting some old free flight models to basic R/C and needed some small reliable servos. I bought two from a well known bulk cheap HK based internet site, one of which failed on first use. A friend into HLG recommended this servo and it is just in a different class. The service from Hyperflight was very good. The servo may well have been three times the price of the one that failed but so far worth every penny

Ripmax SD100 ServoGreat little servo. I have used two of these as elevator servo's for two pylon racers I own. Would highly recommend and would certainly buy them again.
10 out of 10.

Tiny and solidI just bought my second set of these servos, for a new plane. The first sett have been working flawlessly for two years in my frequently used Elf DLG. I am running two servos and an Orange dx 4 channel rx directly of a 1s300 lipo without any problems.
All 6 servos I have recieved have been stable and well centering on the servo tester and in the field.
Thay are expensive, but worth it!

Solid preformersI have had two of these in two Elf fuselages over two years. They have suffered plenty of cartwheels and hangar scruffing with out the slightest problem. I am now buying four more for a Lbelle
They are worth it
Review by: Kipperfeet
Incompetent builder?Quality of kit is excellent but instructions not adequate ( at least for me)
The fuselage is on the bench partly completed but likely to remain that way for some time.
I mistakenly believed the fin and elevator would align correctly when assembled as the elevator mount is pre-installed and the fin slot pre-cut. Not so and I now have a fin cyanoed in place and not at 90 degrees to the elevator. On the instructions downloaded (too late) from the maker's website it emphasises that care must be taken to ensure the fin is set at right angles before glueing but not on the instructions with the kit.
I also have the fin push rod cyanoed in place to the horn using a piece of wire insulation tube and it needs to be removed to assemble the servo connection. Similar problem with the elevator push-rod. Again, the downloaded instructions are more detailed and helpful.
Maybe I should have known better but I am not an inexperienced model builder - albeit most of my experience dates from the 20th century and is,perhaps, not relevant when using 21st century materials and methods.
Hopefully, I'll sort the problems eventually.

Ripmax SD100 ServosI was having trouble fitting servos in the ELF DLG.
The Ripmax SD100 Servo's do fit OK.

Have used these servos for years and have nothing but respect for them. Perfect for rudder and elevator on 1.5m DLG's. I will be coming back for more…..
Review by: Ray
2 duff servos out of 4 which, both could of led to radio failure. Disappointing for the money. Hopefully this will be rectified by Hyperflight who have changed one without question. Thank you.
HyperFlight comment:
Multiple failures in one plane suggests an installation error, as our overall returns rate for this servo is about 2%. However we have credited Ray.

excellent serviceThese servos are really small and light, not cheap, but good quality.

Review by: Toby Cross
Power!!Expensive but worth it. They centre superbly, run off a 2 cell lipo and have loads of fittings. Use in an Elf DLG and brilliant. Very happy with them and worth the price. Don't bother looking around they are this price everywhere. As they say, you get what you pay for.

Low profile wing servoThese SD100 servo are superbly engineered and remarkably efficient. I use 4 in my Blaster 2e but in hindsight would have started out with the more robust SD150 for wing flaperon use, with the SD100 for rudder and elevator. A heavylanding under gusty conditions or even careless handling of the wing control surfaces can strip the nylon gears.
Comendation to Hyperflight for super quick response on two replacements and it would be great if spare gear sets could be stocked in due course. A shame to bin such a good servo for the lose of a couple of teeth.

Great little servoUsing these micro servos inall sorts of applications. Never had a bad one.
Stripped a gear due to turning servo arm (dont do it) but spares easily available so fixed in no time. Surprising power and very fast especially on 2 cell lipo with MPX or Jeti Rx that can also run on 9volts.

Quality Micro ServoUsing these micro servos in lots of models - Gliders and Egliders, indoor 3D, Tomboy/Mills 2Channel and small EDF.
Never had a bad one. Stripped a gear once due moving servo arm (never a good idea) but just replaced gearset.
Well worth the money................ IMHO
