We have received the new upgraded Pulsar Pro 3.6 eSoarers. These have generally improved aerodynamics and structure. The main changes are:
- More dihedral to improve stability when thermalling.
- A longer nose to help balance the model with modern lightweight powertrains.
- A large canopy hatch to enable the battery to be swapped or charged more easily.
- The wing mounts on a short pylon to reduce interference drag, improving performance at all speeds.
- Ballast can be fitted internally more easily, to allow a larger speed range.
- Smaller 38mm front firewall reduces drag yet still accommodates most motors.
This model is very easy to fly, with good performance and excellent handling. It is more relaxing than an all molded model, yet will be just as efficient in wind speeds up to about 12 mph.
