The MKS HV747R High Torque Wing Servo
is designed for glider control surfaces and is perfect for many high performance gas, jet, and electric RC planes. This -R version of the popular HV747 servo has mounting lugs in the plane of the case, making it suitable for wing (or tail surface) mounting. The speed, strength and precision of the HV747R is astonishing.
The gear train uses a new type of gear structure, giving negligible backlash and an even longer service life. The MKS HV747R is powered by a substantial 12 mm diameter x 20 mm long high eficiency coreless DC motor, and can operate with supplies from 5.5V to 8.4V, allowing the servo to be operated safely from an unregulated 2S LiPo battery. The feedback mechanism uses a 9mm VR ultra high resolution potentiometer, to ensure the servo moves very accurately, and holds its position 100% when adverse torque is applied.
The MKS hallmark CNC aluminium alloy case adds rigidity and crash resistance to the servo. The gears are pre-loaded to remove all slop or backlash from the geartrain, allowing a level of precision unequalled by other manufacturers.
The extreme reliability and performance of these servos also makes them very suitable for use in film and motion picture industry special effect departments. They are also used in robotic, drone, UAV, UAS, academic research, military, and other highly demanding applications.
The MKS HV747R uses a Futaba 25T spline on the output shaft, so a Futaba metal arms can be fitted, if required.
