Awesome AuriBeautiful to look at and a joy to fly. The Auri is my third DLG having had Longshots previously. The finish is good. The glider goes together easily but I did have to spend time studying build threads and photos to work out certain measurements. Mine came in at 226g and is the first plane I have built that balanced straight off without the need for adding weight, somewhere! Flying it is simply a joy. Launches are easy. It can float, turns nice circles, or can whiz through the sky. Easy to fly - the challenge being to fly it well. I can’t get enough of it to be honest. Worth every penny.

AuriGreat dlg brought this to replace alula fairy straight forward build 4xkts servos on 2s and the option for 1s only had the maiden flight so far due to weather
As for the flight fantastic great thermaling and speed a good all rounder 10/10

Auri dlgThe Auri flies extremely well. With four KST X08 HV servos mounted on the supplied servo mount and a 300mAh 7.4V battery up front the model weighs 230 grams and balances at 63mm from wing leading edge without any added weight. Fitting the aileron control rods was not straightforward. Cyano did not glue the rods effectively to the carbon fuselage and had to be backed up with epoxy adding a few grams of weight. The canopy is about 2mm too narrow and 2mm too short to be a good fit. Otherwise a great quality kit and once the Auri gets airborne the small niggles are soon forgotten.

Auri DLGI bought the Auri in early June and it arrived in California approximately 7 days later in large cardboard box. The build quality is excellent and the surface finish is extremely smooth. Assembly was straightforward with the help of online videos and threads. I completed the build start to finish in one 8 hour block of time. The plane thermals really well on calm days and is a capable ridge soaring plane on windy days. Im using a spektrum receiver with an internal antenna and I haven't had any issues with signal loss through the pod.

Auri DLGFantastic. A straightforward build due to high quality of fit and finish. But, its in the air where the Auri really excels, agile and responsive to the weakest of thermals or wickedly fast with just a small amount of reflex - you can even pop in a bit of ballast and go off to the slope - this little gem really is that good. KST X08 servos are well suited and fit to perfection. I have over 250 fun filled flights completed and can honestly recommend the Auri to anyone in the market for a new F3K airframe. Well done LD Models. Top marks.

After having owned a few of the top end models like Snipes/NXT/NRJ/Vortex 2+3 I settled on the Auri. I am very impressed with these planes, whilst I have yet to fly mine, I cannot fault it's build quality for the price, it's very very close to that of the top end designs. The wing in the standard textreme layup is both stiff and really glossy. The Carbon tails on mine are on par with the above brands, very well made. I love the fuse design, the pod is around the same size as the Vortex 3 so plenty of room for your rc gear and the 4 in pod layout is super easy to set up, I will never go back to top drive designs. The boom is a interesting square section and extremely stiff and the socket for the rudder is the best fit I've seen on any of the designs. Whilst the wing may not be the current hype of small chord, I am expecting it to be far easier to fly and easier to set up which for me will equal enjoying flying it far more than I did with my last model. Dimitry of LD models is super quick to respond to any questions you may have also, unlike some other brands which never reply. I would definitely recommend the Auri if you're looking for a new dlg and usual first class service from Neil at Hyperflight.

AURIAs with the Malibu Pro the AURI arrived at my doorstep in Australia six days after placing my order with Hyperflight. The AURI was well packaged. All components were accounted for and of high quality.
I am about to complete the build which includes fitting 4x KST X08 V5.0 servos, micro receiver and a 2S 300ma Lipo. The only change I have made is fitting Kevlar string elevator and rudder rods. The build is relatively easy and well supported by pictures posted on RCGroup AURI.
Concluding, again the whole process of ordering and dealing with Hyperflight has been a positive experience and I will be dealing with this organisation again.

Good DLGExcellent job from hyperflight on packaging. Arrived in just 6 days. I'm getting really long flight times also on fine thermals. When having the flaps set to thermal mode, you'll get much longer flight times. I setup the CG about 5mm more to the front. On throwing I'm getting a few meters less than with the Snipe 2. All in all, I'm happy.

Auri DLGI bought one of these Auri DLG from Neil at the beginning of the month.
It arrived very quickly ,perfectly packed so no damage to model on arrival !
The quality build of this model is SO GOOD ,but some of the assembly was not as I am used to, but plenty of help is available. I completed the model with 4 KST X08 servos, G-RX6 RX, and 2cell 350mah Lipo at 230g. It is an absolute pleasure to fly with CG at 64mm and recommended settings. I have flown it now for around 2hours and am VERY pleased with it !!!!! 5STAR Product at great price.

AuriThe Auri has a very wide speed range...able to float in light air yet still able to cover a
large area looking for thermals in Cruise mode. Aesthetically it is a very attractive aircraft with a slightly bulbous nose with lots of room for servos and a high aspect wing that is able to turn in tight thermals with ease. With 4 KST XO8 servos, 300mah 2S battery and a Lemon Telemetry RX mine weighs in at 236 g with 2 g of nose weight. Great cost to fun ratio!

As a newcomer to the DLG scene this was my first full size model ( I also have an Elf Mini ) and I was not disappointed. The quality of the kit is excellent and although things like springs and pull cables were totally alien to me with care and help from the RC Groups Auri thread it didn’t take too long to put everything together. I have only had two flight sessions with the model so far but the Auri achieves great altitude with a reasonable launch, floats well and picks up thermals easily. I did Have a problem with the receiver battery that I purchased at the same time but Neil sorted this out immediately with a replacement that arrived the following day - great customer service as usual.

AuriFantastic glider for the money. Flies well and shows thermal activity very well I think due to the wing design. Nicely made but not quite the finish quality of a Vladimir Snipe but still well worth the money and a great performer.

It,s easy to make and auri dlg is also obedient to a flight and thinks the steering is also easy also I bear comparison with the expensive fuselage which often also Gose up lunch. The packing of mr hyperflight was also perfect and l admired.

Worth more than priceAURI is the latest competition DLG design from Dmitriy Lomovtsev features thin wing profile.
Easy to built, easy to fly and floats surprisingly well. Penetrate well in windy condition.
AURI will fit many flyers, from intermediate to top level competitors.
Of course, my kits were delivered without any damage thanks to Hyperflight's excellent packing as always !
