GM CL Spinners & Blades FAQ
Description
- GM CL (Contest Line) spinners and prop blades must be used together. They cannot be used with non CL blades or spinners.
- The hinge pin axis on the yoke/hub is angled in 3 planes (axes) so that the blade rotates to be closer to the fuselage when folded, reducing drag.
- They are also lighter than the normal GM F5J components.
- If normal blades are used on a CL yoke/hub the blade will be at much too high a pitch.
- If CL blades are used on a normal yoke/hub the blade their pitch will be too low.
