Dualsky SUMMIT 30 SLIM 8V SBEC ESC

The new Dualsky SUMMIT 30 SLIM 8V SBEC ESC is the latest 25A lightweight speed control from this excellent manufacturer. The 8V SBEC makes this ESC ideal for all HV servos. This speed control works flawlessly with all brushless motors, not just Dualsky motors.The speed control is supplied with the brake ON, so no programming is required for glider use. Solder the brushless motor wires directly to the three PCB lands. Swap any two wires to reverse the direction.Like many high performance speed controls this Dualsky ESC uses BLHeli-32 firmare. This makes it very efficient and thus small. However it also means that a PC and an Aurdino Nano or a USB LINK for Dualsky Summit and Lite ESCs is reqired to program it, if required.Due to supply issues the ESC has been loaded with a developement version of the firmware and needs a special version of the the programmer called BLHeliSuite32Test. Please download the .zip file from here, unzip it and run BLHeliSuite32Test.exe to configure the speed control. Telemetry is supported using the KIS 24A protocol and is output to a blue wire next to the RC plug. The data output includes:
Temperature - degrees C
Voltage - V
Rotation speed - electrical RPM - divide by motor poles/2 to convert to mechanical RPM.
