GliderThrow V-Tail Adapters for Wing Incidence Tool V2

The GliderThrow V-Tail Adapters extend the capabilities of the GliderThrow Wing Incidence Tool V2, allowing accurate measurement of the wing–tail incidence difference (decalage/EWD) on gliders and model aircraft fitted with a V-tail.Measuring incidence on a V-tail can be difficult because the inclined tailplane surfaces prevent conventional incidence measuring tools from being positioned correctly. These specially designed adapters allow the GliderThrow sensor to hang vertically beneath the V-tail surface, enabling accurate incidence measurements using the GliderThrow digital measuring system.The adapters feature adjustable mounting points to accommodate different V-tail geometries and are designed to fit the 10 mm square measuring beams of the latest Wing Incidence Tool V2.With one GliderThrow sensor mounted on the wing and another on the V-tail measuring assembly, the wing–tail incidence difference can be read directly from the Differential display in the GliderThrow WiFi interface.Key Features

How to Use
Attach the Wing Incidence Tool V2 measuring bars to the wing and V-tail, using a V-tail adapter to position the tailplane sensor vertically beneath the inclined tail surface.Zero both GliderThrow sensors on the same level surface before positioning them on their respective measuring assemblies. Ensure the measuring bars are accurately aligned, as incorrect alignment can introduce measurement errors.The wing–tail incidence difference can then be read directly from the Differential display in the GliderThrow web interface.Note: This set contains two V-tail adapters only. The GliderThrow Wing Incidence Tool V2 (10 mm version) and two GliderThrow sensors are required and must be purchased separately.
