Dream-Flight Libelle Sticker Set

Certainly stiffens and protect the wing. Improving launch height? I'm not sure, there should be reduced friction.
Note there are holes for the wing servos, so there is a top and bottom pair.

There really add to the plane. Fit brilliantly using the water/soap spray.

Definitely stiffens the wing- will probably help save it from dings too.

These stickers really finish off the libelle wing nicely. They are really well made and fit the wing perfectly. They are easy to attach, just remember to remove the aileron pushrods before you remove the backing paper! the adhesive seems good, although I may add a strip of packing tape along the leading edge to stop any peeling in the future. They improve the stiffness of the wing and add some protection. Flight performance and launch height seems improved too. I just wish I'd bought these when I first bought my libelle, my wing would not be as dented as it is now!

You're going to think you don't need these. Right up to the point you slope your Libelle into a gorse bush.

Then you realise these little strips of plastic would have saved two dents and a series of scratches on your lovely foam wing.

It's less than a tenner, you spend that much driving to the supermarket every week.

The sticker set is useful in finishing off the bare surfaces of the Libelle model. The leading edge stickers give a nice smooth surface which may help stiffen the wing but I would have thought mainly help reduce the chance of surface damage. These leading edge stickers are very thin and are quite tricky to fit correctly but patience rewards when you get it right. The one disappointment in the set is that there is no "Libelle" name sticker which would have finished the set off if provided, a little more colour variety would have also been welcome.

Having had a few problems glueing the two wing halves together, which has left some residual gaps, the application of this sticker set certainly adds some confidence in the strength of the now completed wing.
After a liberal wash down with Isopropyl alcohol, application with a ripple free finish was pretty easy, aided by the accurate shape and with a good overlap, a very lightweight strengthening solution.

Significantly stiffens the Libelle wings, resulting in greater launch height and improved flight response.

So a no brainer really.....
