Carbon V mount for all versions of the Supra. Supplied with a custom machined alloy sleeve nut to retain the tailplane. It fits on the boom one way for the original Supra, and the reverse way for the Pro version. Also ideal for Drela inspired own designed models.
Based on the Mark Drela design, this superb quality mount is hand crafted from high modulus carbon and keeps the tailplane above the turbulent flow near the fuselage. This increases the amount of laminar flow on the tailplane, reducing drag. Although it looks spindly it is in fact very strong, and none have ever failed in flight.
Boom fitting inside diameter: 18.4mm
Height of the tailplane mounting plate above the boom: 36mm

To further reduce drag it is recommended that the V leading edges are rounded, and all trailing edges are filed to a sharp point.
