Stark DLG
Product Code: STARK
Description
Stark DLG
The Stark is a superb new discus launched glider from LD Models which has been compared with the Stobel for its outstanding performance. It is intended for more advance DLG pilots, who will appreciate the highest levels of performance, however it is easy to fly, and will bring out the best in all fliers.
The Stark is available in three versions, the kevlar with disser (criss cross carbon diagonal wing bracing) version sells for £459, the carbon Dbox version is £499, and the all spread carbon version is £509. The kevlar carbon disser and carbon Dbox wings weigh about 115 g, the spread carbon wing is about 23 g heavier.
The one piece fuselage is molded from spread carbon with a 2.4GHz friendly glass front portion for the receiver. The tail has a small pylon on which the tailplane is mounted. The wings and tail are molded carbon and Kevlar over milled foam cores, making the models much tougher and ding proof than hollow molded models of the same very light weight. The flaperon servos are mounted in the wing, with just the rudder and elevators servos mounted in the fuselage.
The aerodynamics have been optimised over three years, going through several iterations of airfoil and planform, with the final version a great improvement over the Akcent-2.
The model comes with padded wing bags, servo mount, control horns, and pull string hardware.
