Specifications:
Input: 5-16V DC (any USB power port)
Battery pack voltage range: 2.4-7.2V NiMH
Battery chemistry: NiMH batteries only
Average charging current: 200mA for a typical 4.8V Rx pack.
Trickle charge current: 20mA (if battery is left plugged in after LED switches to green)

Hot Tip: If using a notebook computer USB port for powering charger, make sure to deactivate SLEEP or HIBERNATE mode on the computer to ensure a complete charge.

Super Convent Charger for NiMH Receiver Packs

I have no more excuses for not having fully charged NiMH receiver packs! This is a super-simple, super-convenient battery charger that uses a USB socket for its power source. It can charge 2 - 6 cell NiMH battery packs at 200mA until they are fully charged, when it switches to a 20mA trickle charge. Plug in the charger to a 5V USB supply and led is green. Plug in the discharged battery and LED changes to red. Unplug the charged battery when LED turns back to green. How simple is that? Although the USB input is super convenient, it will work on a supply voltage in the range 5-16V (but would need a new input connector). As ever, I received my charger within 24 hours. Thanks Hyperflight for brilliant service.

What a useful charger!

Bought this alongside my Weasel Trek slope soarer and I can use it to charge both the 4-cell 750mAh NiMH battery for the glider and the 5-cell 1800mAh NiMH battery in my Futaba transmitter.

I always have a USB power supply of some sort with me, so with this charger the amount of charging clutter I need to take on holiday with me has been greatly reduced!
