The Max40 gearbox is a high performance planetary gearbox with metal gears and ball raced bearings. It has a useful reduction ratio that allows larger, more efficient propellers to be used. It fits Speed 400, Hacker B20, and similar 20mm - 28mm diameter motors with a 2.3mm diameter shaft. The geardrive is ballraced and has a hardened steel shaft and gears, and an alloy casing. It is supplied with a pinion gear fixed using a grub screw, and mounting bolts.
This 4.3:1 planetary gearbox will fit most medium sized (Speed 400/480 & Hacker B40 sized) brushless motors and many inrunners. It comes with both 3 mm and 3.2 mm pinion gears so is suitable for motors with 3 mm and 1/8" shafts. The geardrive' s hardened steel 5 mm output shaft is mounted on two ballraces and the planetary gears are supported on roller bearings.
The Planeta 400 Gearbox is a medium performance planetary gearbox with metal gears and ball raced bearings. It has a okay reduction ratio that allows larger, more efficient propellers to be used. It fits Speed 400 and Speed 480 sized motors like the Mega 16/xx/xx and Neu 11xx series. The gearboxes are ball-raced, with anodised aluminium cases and polished aluminium mounting plates. The gears are steel.
The Planeta 550 Gearbox is a medium performance planetary gearbox with metal gears and ball raced bearings. It has a okay reduction ratio that allows larger, more efficient propellers to be used. It can be used with any motor with a 3.17mm shaft and 19mm front mounting holes. The gearboxes are ball-raced, with anodised aluminium cases and polished aluminium mounting plates. The gears are steel.
