Description

The PNC Innovations 25 mm Electric DLG Motor Mount is a beautifully CNC machined motor mount for securely attaching 1805 and 1806 sized drone outrunner motors to discus launched glider and F5K fuselages.

The mount is recessed to allow the outrunner motor to be fitted within the firewall, and the front aligns with VM25 mm and CN 25 mm spinners.

The mount has 4 M2 holes on a 12 mm diameter circle plus 2 on a 16 mm diameter.

To attach these CNC motor mounts to carbon/kevlar/glass fuselages a strong high temperature glue is required. We recommend this glue or JB Weld. Epoxy can be used but the strength is impaired at high temperatures.

Best fitting firewall

I placed this firewall and motor together inside the Max Flight F5k 1.5 and made the strongest
Power plant I’ve ever made in a DLG
I use these plane for work keeping the birds off landiills and keeping under the FAA rules
The planes come in at 242 grams with batteries
Thank you for designing this firewall it make the plane very strong

Better than plastic

Bought this as I broke the 3d printed firewall in my vortex 3 elektro. This metal part is nice because it has a thin metal "lip" that sits proud of the fuselage so there's no chance of the motor getting knocked back and it protects the leading edge of the carbon of the fuselage. It does mean the particular motor I have results in a bit more of a gap between the spinner and fuselage but I'll gladly take that penalty for massively increased durability that this affords me
