Description

Low friction 2.16 mm ID PTFE tube suitable for pushrod outers on gliders and other models. Also suitable for a large range of engineering and industrial uses.

This tubing is specially etched on the outside, making it easily bondable using many adhesives, thin CA being probably the best. Provides the lightest, easiest, most friction-free pushrod installations possible.

Can be stretched to 2 times the original length to reduce the weight per meter, and tune the inside diameter to be a perfect fit for the inner pushrod. Sold by the meter. Enter a quantity of 3 for a 3m roll.

Etched Teflon Servo-rod guide

Superior bowden cable outter tube

I was searching for a suitable push rod system for use on a carbon tube tailboom when I came across this PTFE tubing which when combined with a 1.5mm carbon rod is the most friction free "snake" system I have ever fitted. As the site details suggest the outter tube can be secured to of the fuzelage using low- viscocity cyano which I ran (poured)down the etched outter wall of the tube and wherel adhered to the walls of the carbon tail boom where it touched. This system is far superior to any commercial product where is is suitable to use a carbon rod as the push rod
