A most impresssive kit. Very interested to note that components are CNC router cut which is a tidier means of profiling, rather than laser-cutting. This has been purchased in order to develop interest in F3 RES for the local Club. Let's hope it has some effect with fellow fliers!

This is a nicely sorted kit, and as usual from Neil, packaging and postage were first class and quick. I built mine as an electric powered plane using the recommended ADH300L motor and will run with a 3S 450mAh battery. I found the model was quite nose-heavy (having been originally designed as a glider) and chopped a 60mm plug out of the pod between the equipment hatch and wing LE before covering the pod - using some plywood (and glass) reinforcement at the butt join. Then the completed model balanced perfectly at 71mm from LE with the battery up front near the motor. AUW 490gm.

Unfortunately I could not find the parts F28 and F29 so made them from scrap 1mm ply.They are mentioned on the plan but seem to have been omitted from the 1mm ply sheet.

The kit arrived in good time and as usual was well packaged (box within a box). i am in the process of building the model and am opting for the electric conversion. The parts are all of good quality. However care is needed when fitting the half wing ribs to the carbon tube. These did need eased slightly but be careful as they are easily broken!! I opted for the ADH 300L motor which will fit but neat. Almost there now and looking forward to the test flights. Overall a positive experience from Hyperflight.

I have spent 2/3 months slowly putting this kit together. Quality was excellent with all parts fitting perfectly. End result gives me immense satisfaction. I have had to wait a few weeks for suitable weather but the Fresh flies beautifully with long gentle glides just as I had hoped. I have also had a couple of bad landings that left not a mark on her. Fills me with confidence just how strong the construction is. Will certainly be buying from Hyperflight again .

This kit build easily and precisely, and it flies the same. I have already ordered a second Fresh 2M to build it with electric power. I don't use the term "precisely" lightly... when I built the two outer wing sections, the dihedral was accurate to 1/100th of a degree left vs right. The flight characteristics are excellent. I set my CG at 68-69mm from the leading edge. I only needed to add a small amount of weight to get balance and the Fresh weighed in at 442.9 grams ready to fly. This is my favorite RES glider!

Neil's service is exceptional. Dispatched on the order day and arrived on the following. the kit is really well designed and there is sufficient help online to support a novice builder like me. still putting it together but I can already feel the temptation to speed up and get out. fighting that....

Very good quality kit, with full size plan and no manual, however, online help is available. Previous building experience is required (in my opinion) as some of the parts need careful handling. I put mine together in 10 days. As usual, the service from Hyperflight was excellent!.

The fresh is a straight forward build, the CnC cutting accurate, the plans a little over size. A very well natured plane in light winds , gets thrown around with a bit of wind.... I'm still playing with c.o.g. And have yet to see how it flies with a bit of extra weight on board.
Mine is flying at 510g motor(+spinner 32g) & 550mAh 3s, used Neil's cf & unstretched etched tubing instead of the supplied spring pull.
I put it together with SuperPhatic glue probably alot more than was needed in hindsight (never used it before, would definitely use it again) . Neil's service is fantastic and fast , unfortunately my kit had a few bits missing...... And Germany was too slow coming up with the parts for my liking...
I'm looking forward to getting to know this plane more, and am interested to see if it can knock my Callistic off its favourite in light's winds perch.

Finally calm weather, daylight and time off work co-incided to allow a test flight. The Fresh is a superb model. Very smooth, ultra efficient, responsive well balanced controls and flies very neutral. The model also looks much nicer in the air than in photos. 30 mins flying from a 3S 370 lipo today with no thermal activity.

Build is very rewarding, nothing difficult, but care and a little thought is required in some stages. Best advice is to buy the recommended motor. I shoe horned a larger diameter motor in and it was hard work. The ADH motor would have been a much better choice. AUW on mine is 515 grams. A smaller lipo and a few tweaks could easily see it under 500 grams... Highly recommended model, for those with some building experience.

Excellent kit, every part fitted perfectly. An English version of the instructions is available on line. It takes some time to read them and figure out the various building steps. by chance I was looking at build threads for the x res
on saw, IN STOCK on the fresh ,and pulled the trigger
another wonderful kit from Hyperflight, less then a week
and it came, every thing was in order, I loved working with a full sized plan , clean balsa ,all needed hardware, the spring loaded rudder and elevator was
alittle strange to me, but turned out easy to install and
works fine, weight came out to 445gms.,geat service
