13mm - 7mm x 1m Tapered Carbon Boom 3K Finish
This 100 cm long lightweight carbon fiber boom tapers from 13.0 mm diameter to 7.0 mm diameter, with a wall thickness of 0.8 mm. It is made from high modulus carbon fiber wound onto a tapered form, encased in an epoxy matrix, and cured at high temperature. This high quality carbon boom (hollow tapered tube) is extremely rigid and strong, yet only weighs 34 g.
These composite carbon fibre booms will be sent unbent in a rigid cardboard postal tube. If all the carbon items ordered are less than the 90 cm limit for a legal Royal Mail postal tube they will be sent by first class post, or Airmail post for overseas orders. If any rigid carbon products over 90 cm long are ordered they will all be sent by Parcelforce, or by courier for overseas orders. This increases the delivery cost.
