Blaster 2 21mm-8mm x 0.93m Carbon Tail Boom

To stay any concern the last reviewer may have raised I can personally vouch for the fact this boom ordered sensibly as full length does indeed fit the Blaster 2.

After a tree grabbed my Blaster and after 4 days finally snapped my original boom, I replaced it with this boom and fitted a new V Mount no problems. You do of course have to telescope the new one into the old remaining boom when doing a proper job, and re-lay the balsa pod area. But no problem for anyone with modest experience. Lovely quality and very pleased :-)

This is not a direct replacement for the Blaster 2 you cannot use the V mount and fit this to the pod at the same time - if you install into the pod - the diamater of the tube where the V mount is supposed to go is WAY too wide - this is NOT a Blaster 2 boom at all. Pretty dissapointed that it is sold as such.

The product definitely is a Blaster 2 tail boom, as made by Vladimir's Models. Maybe the customer forgot he requested that it be cut down to 88 cm length to allow it to be posted by regular mail.

Very strong and well done tapered boom.

I bought this to replace a snapped boom on my Longshot 3. This boom is very well made; smooth in appearance on the outside and of a very consistent wind. It is thin in cross section, very stiff, very light, and I was able to use it to replace the section of broken boom without any problem. It arrived very quickly in the post, packed well.
