3.4mm outside diameter, 2.1mm inside diameter semi rigid polypropylene tube 1.5m long. These tubes have a low coefficient of friction, making them suitable as pushrod outers for our 1.5mm and 2mm carbon rods and tubes. They can also be used with 16 SWG or 14 SWG piano wire inners for larger models. 1.5m length of 1.5mm carbon rod running in a 3.4mm outside diameter low friction semi rigid polypropylene tube. This excellent quality Bowden Cable is long enough for the largest models. Weight = 14g for 1.5m of inner and outer. Sold singly. These can be sent by coiling into a pizza type box, or can be kept straight and sent in a 1.5m long postal tube (extra cost). If sent coiled they will straighten out well. Please remove from the pizza box with care!

This high stretch tubing should be made up with 70m of suitable line to make a great high start for launching gliders up to 3m in span and 1500g in weight. For higher launches we recommend using two of these high starts to double the length of rubber, with 100m-120m of nylon monofilament line. Excellent for launching Sprites and AVAs.
